Rochdale Pétanques Euro Team A—along with a few enthusiastic supporters—visited Rainworth Pétanque Club in Mansfield to compete in the third round of Pétanque England’s Euro Cup.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the club’s lovely members. Set in stunning surroundings, Rainworth’s home ground is nothing short of spectacular—a true gem in the pétanque community. The care, effort, and attention to detail put into every corner of their club is evident everywhere you look. Huge congratulations to everyone involved—it’s an outstanding venue!
On the piste, the matches were tough, competitive, and played in great spirit. Although Rochdale Team A ultimately lost 2–3 to our very worthy opponents, it was a day full of exciting games and great sportsmanship.
Congratulations to Rainworth on the win—we wish you the best of luck in the next rounds and genuinely look forward to visiting again.
