While the PNW Inter-Regional members were battling rain and flooded pistes down south, Dave & Linda were enjoying glorious sunshine on the pistes of Chania, Greece.
Dave faced some top-class precision shooters. Although he didn’t place, he still put in a strong performance.
Saturday – Singles Competition
Linda won her first match and then was narrowly edged out in the following three games by just 2 and 1 points, finishing a very respectable 8th place.
Dave played brilliantly, making it through to the semi-finals and then going on to win his group! A fantastic achievement – and a lovely medal to take home.
Sunday – Doubles Competition
Dave and Linda powered through to the semi-finals but were drawn against French Champion Rémy Galleu and his partner. They put up a great fight, with the match finishing 13–8, an excellent result against such strong opponents.
