Today Trafford Pétanque hosted a friendly triples match organised by Pétanque North West— and for once, the weather was on our side and the sun was shining!
The event was a fantastic opportunity for new players to experience competition pétanque in a welcoming and supportive setting. Teams of three and four were drawn at random into Squads A and B and played five games with a one-hour time limit, creating a brilliant mix of quick wins and thrilling last-minute finishes.
There were some exciting close ends, great sportsmanship throughout, and plenty of smiles across the terrain.
Squad A were the overall winners of the day with a score of 16 – 9
