Pennine League – Sunday 21st March
Round 2 of the Pennine League was hosted by Huddersfield on a lovely sunny spring day.
Huddersfield, Heckmondwike, Rochdale and Trafford each played rounds against one another, with each round consisting of 2 triples and 3 doubles games.
Rochdale started the day well, winning their first round against Trafford 3–2.
Next up were the title holders Heckmondwike. All of the games were hard fought, but Rochdale took the advantage with a strong 4–1 win.
The final round against Huddersfield came down to the last doubles game for the overall win. All the games were very close in score, with one of the doubles ending in a draw on time. The extra end gave Rochdale the chance to gain another point, securing the round win for Rochdale 3–2.

Scoring System:
2 points for each game win plus 2 points for winning the round.
A drawn game earns 1 point.
Points are accumulated over the 4 rounds of the season.

Trafford – 9 wins = 18 + 2 = 20
Heckmondwike – 6 wins = 12
