DESCRIPTION:The Pennine League Returns – Sunday 1st February \nThe Pennine League returns on Sunday 1st February\, marking the third year of this popular inter-Pennine competition. \nFour teams from across the Pennines will compete for league honours and the Pennine League Trophy:Heckmondwike\, Huddersfield\, Trafford\, and Rochdale. Each team will take turns hosting the event throughout the season. \nMatch play will see each team face the others in a combination of triples and doubles\, promising competitive and entertaining contests at every venue. \nAt each event\, the host club will run a raffle\, with all proceeds going directly to the hosting club. A suggested £2 raffle contribution per player is kindly encouraged. \nDefending champions Heckmondwike\, who have held the title for the past two consecutive years\, will host the opening round of games. \nThe big question remains:Can anyone wrestle the trophy away from Heckmondwike this year? \nWe are all set for another exciting Pennine League season. \n  \n\nRegistration: 9.30\nFirst of 3 games to start 10 am\nLunch break\nFinal 3 games in afternoon\n\n  \n
