Despite Storm Ashley and the awful weather in the morning, Rochdale Pétanque visited the new Burnley Pétanque Club, although it was a little breezy the weather improved and the sun even came out!
Around 20 players took part in a 3 round melee on Burnley’s pistes and had a very enjoyable afternoon.
The Prairie Sports Village has some lovely facilities, with a cafe etc very close to the pistes.
If any other clubs would like to arrange to go to Burnley Pétanque Club then I’m sure it can be arranged.
