Today marked the inaugural Lancashire Doubles Cup Competition, and what a fantastic day it was!
A total of 28 doubles teams battled it out under blazing sun, stifling heat, a spot of rain—and thankfully, no thunderstorms! The atmosphere was absolutely electric from start to finish.
As expected, we saw some incredibly close games, with many matches that could have gone either way. The level of competition was outstanding across the board.
The finals were nothing short of riveting, drawing in even casual visitors to Milnrow Cricket Club, who found themselves on the edge of their seats and cheering along with the crowd during the thrilling Gold Final.
