Trafford Pétanque played host to today’s PNW Regional Triples, teams from Trafford Petanque & Rochdale Pétanque entered for a full day of competitive boules.
The weather proved challenging, with heavy showers turning parts of the terrain into mini lakes and leaving players distinctly damp. But in true North West spirit, the games went ahead with plenty of grit and determination.
Eight triples battled it out in a round-robin format, each match played to a one-hour time limit plus an end. It was a marathon day of pointing, shooting, and flying steel, with every result counting towards the final standings.
In the end, Neil, Paul, and Sylvester proved unstoppable, taking home the PNW Triples Trophy with a perfect record of 7 wins and +51 points difference.
