The Pennine League Returns – Sunday 1st February

The Pennine League returns on Sunday 1st February, marking the third year of this popular inter-Pennine competition.

Four teams from across the Pennines will compete for league honours and the Pennine League Trophy:
Heckmondwike, Huddersfield, Trafford, and Rochdale. Each team will take turns hosting the event throughout the season.

Match play will see each team face the others in a combination of triples and doubles, promising competitive and entertaining contests at every venue.

At each event, the host club will run a raffle, with all proceeds going directly to the hosting club. A suggested £2 raffle contribution per player is kindly encouraged.

Defending champions Heckmondwike, who have held the title for the past two consecutive years, will host the opening round of games.

The big question remains:
Can anyone wrestle the trophy away from Heckmondwike this year?
