If you would like to play in competitions there may be some membership requirements, these are listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rochdale Boules League:<\/strong>
The league is played from April to October, against teams from the Rochdale area, with the addition in 2024 of a team from Trafford who for this league are based at Milnrow. Players at Milnrow Cricket Club must be Rochdale P\u00e9tanque Club members with Cricket Club Membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milton – Milnrow Cricket Club
Last of the Summer Wine – Milnrow Cricket Club
Trafford P\u00e9tanque – Milnrow Cricket Club
The Healey – The Healey Pub
The Dell Boys -The Healey Pub
Bamford Bowling \u2013 Bamford Bowling Club
The Donkey \u2013 The Donkey Pub<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rochdale Cup:<\/strong>
This competition is annually. Teams from around Rochdale, Trafford, Huddersfield, Heckmondwike and Ripponden take part in this competition.
Rochdale P\u00e9tanque members can take part in this event<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pennine League:<\/strong>
The league is between four clubs from around the Pennines,
Rochdale P\u00e9tanque
Trafford Petanque
Huddersfield P\u00e9tanque
Heckmondwike P\u00e9tanque<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025 a Championship Cup Melle was introduced so that as many players from each club could take part, this runs alongside the main league games.
Members of Rochdale P\u00e9tanque qualify to take part in this league if they wish to do so<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e9tanque North West Events:<\/strong>
Members of Rochdale P\u00e9tanque qualify to take part in PNW events through Rochdale P\u00e9tanque Club membership.
Individual membership is also available for players not affiliated with a club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e9tanque England Euro Cup:<\/strong>
In this competition teams are drawn firstly against other teams in their region or where there are no other teams, a region close to them, winning\/qualifying teams then go through to play against a qualifying team in the closest region to them progressing through rounds and regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teams that do not win\/qualify for the next round in the Euro Cup go into the Euro Plate draw which is played in much the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A separate membership is required through P\u00e9tanque England, which also gives you membership to P\u00e9tanque North West, you must name the club that you wish to be affiliated with i.e Rochdale P\u00e9tanque.
