Trafford P\u00e9tanque played host to today\u2019s PNW Regional Triples, teams from Trafford Petanque & Rochdale P\u00e9tanque entered for a full day of competitive boules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather proved challenging, with heavy showers turning parts of the terrain into mini lakes and leaving players distinctly damp. But in true North West spirit, the games went ahead with plenty of grit and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight triples battled it out in a round-robin format, each match played to a one-hour time limit plus an end. It was a marathon day of pointing, shooting, and flying steel, with every result counting towards the final standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, Neil, Paul, and Sylvester proved unstoppable, taking home the PNW Triples Trophy with a perfect record of 7 wins and +51 points difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the soggy conditions, the tournament was a fantastic showcase of competitive p\u00e9tanque in the North West \u2014 well done to all who played, and congratulations again to our winners!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
