What a great day we had at Rochdale P\u00e9tanque for the Crimbo Limbo Melee!
A fantastic turnout of 29 players from Manchester, Wales, and Yorkshire joined us. Although it was a little chilly, the sun made an appearance and, thankfully, the rain stayed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players were randomly selected into pairs or triples and competed over five rounds. The prize money and chocolates were awarded to those with the highest number of wins, plus points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The games were well contested, hard fought, and played in great spirits, with plenty of fun throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, no event would be complete without food \u2013 Linda\u2019s homemade sausage rolls and fantastic reindeer cakes, as well as mince pies and biscuits kept everyone well fuelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge thank you to Ian and Mike for organising and scoring, to Milnrow Cricket Club for the much-needed warm drinks, and to everyone who came along and made the day such a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
