<\/a>What an incredible year it\u2019s been for Rochdale P\u00e9tanque in 2025! We\u2019ve seen our club grow stronger with each passing month, and it\u2019s been an exciting journey filled with memorable moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From local competitions to international events, our members have represented Rochdale P\u00e9tanque with pride, bringing home medals and trophies while fostering a sense of community. Whether it\u2019s been the social sessions, the friendly games, or our successful teams, we\u2019ve had a fantastic year together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Highlights of 2025:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Building with Manchester United Foundation: A special day connecting with the Manchester United Foundation members, showing that p\u00e9tanque is about fun, teamwork, and community. We look forward to hosting more of these events in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosting & Competing in P\u00e9tanque North West Events: This year, we\u2019ve been proud to be part of a revitalized P\u00e9tanque North West (PNW), with many new plans to grow and develop the sport in the region. Our members have been central to this evolution, and we\u2019re excited about what\u2019s to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lancashire Cup & Ryder Cup: We hosted our first-ever Lancashire Cup, with players from Manchester, Yorkshire, and Wales joining us for a fantastic competition. The Ryder Cup, a collaboration between Rochdale and Heckmondwike, was another milestone event that proved how much we can achieve when we work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Year of New Beginnings & Fond Memories: As a community, we\u2019ve celebrated new births into our P\u00e9tanque family, and while we\u2019ve also experienced the loss of loved ones, we\u2019ve kept their memories close. The strength and spirit of our members continue to shine, and our community is stronger than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we move into 2026, we\u2019re looking forward to even more successes, new friendships, and, of course, more games. Let\u2019s keep growing and thriving \u2013 one boule at a time, one game at a time, and one end at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
